TB Project Handle - import simulation and object protection list

Import simulation

Column "TP" denotes "target project" and the check box mark shows that the project already exists in the target project. The current objects collection might consists of all objects included in the transfer set or specific selection only. Import Simulation will test only those objects that are listed on the screen (i.e. your the current collection). If the object is found in the target project, then its check box in TP column will be marked. It is easy to sort by TP column afterwards an get all existing objects in one place to exclude some or all of them if required.

Object protection

Object protection lists help you to protect your tribon data from unwanted overwriting during the transfer set import procedures. The protection lists can be created and updated during export, import and verify sessions. Just select the objects to be included in the protection list and use one of the commands from the context menu. As an option, customer specific script could be created to help in protection lists preparation based on different criteria.

Before importing data to your project use "Load OPL" and activate the lists required for this particular task. Then click "Consider OPL" to analyze the collection data against the objects included in the activated protection lists.

If protected object is found in the current collection, its corresponding check box in "OP" column will be marked. Use "Remove Protected" to exclude all protected objects from the current collection list or select some of them and use "Remove Selected".
